It's Time To Make Money Online 2011!
Author’s Note: There’s no sense in pretending otherwise, especially considering the industry we’re in. So yes, the title of this article doesn’t sound quite right because of the specific keyword we’re targeting. That’s just how we roll. Wanna fight about it?
Please disregard or ignore the fact that the keyword technically doesn’t make sense when placed inside the actual English language for the remainder of this article. It’s the right thing to do and we would appreciate it. Besides, we provide helpful, informative articles all the damn time so maybe you should just stop being such a selfish prick.

Although we’re already technically 25 full days in, we’re still currently sitting at the beginning of 2011, with practically the entire year ahead of us! Seriously, let’s think about that for a second. If you’re new to Affiliate Marketing, then you have eleven whole months to improve upon everything you’ve learned (and will continue to try and learn, hopefully) and eventually transform into the best affiliate that you can be. On the other hand, if you’re an experienced super affiliate then you’ve got eleven whole months to test, modify and profit from as many offers as you can handle running. It’s a new year with a blank slate. A fresh start. Forget what happened in 2010 — and that goes for all of you who raked in the dough last year as well. It’s time to make money online 2011!
It’s, of course, completely acceptable and even expected that you feel good about your accomplishments — especially after you’ve busted your ass to make them a reality — but always remember that the minute you start thinking that your past success is going to ensure your future success is the minute you fall of the wagon of profit. Especially in this industry! And trust us when we say you want to stay on that wagon for as long as possible. It’s a very comfortable wagon.
So whether you balled out-of-control last year or barely scraped together $27 dollars of conversions from a Digsby download offer, it’s high-time to start fresh. It’s time to make money online 2011, basically. So erase the board of yesteryear and let’s look forward to the future. And it’s a bright future, so be prepared. Some may even say it’s so bright you’re gonna need shades… you’re gonna need shades! (Commencing sound of crickets in 3, 2, 1…)
Okay, that’s enough of the motivational speaking. Hopefully you get the point. If not, well, we really don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you should take a nap or eat an energy bar or something.

In no particular order as they’re all the bomb-dizzle:

Thanks to the fact that there’s so many people out of work, research and search engine queries for anything related to making money from home are as high as they’ll likely ever be. These people essentially think that earning a full-time income online and from home requires a single purchase that explains it all in one nice, easy-to-consume package.
Ah, if only it were this easy! To make money online 2011 is to know the very definition of busting your ass daily. But it’s definitely worth it in the end.
But hey, if they don’t want to research the things they’ve never heard of that they plan to buy with a credit card on the Internet — who are we to try and tell them otherwise? They probably wouldn’t listen, regardless.
The key with this type of offer is that you’re essentially playing on people’s desperation to find something that they can make money with from home. As such, you’re going to want to make the product sound effective, easy-to-use and unique no matter what kind of method you choose to bring on the traffic.
This offer accepts PPC, SEO and social network traffic and generally works best with some kind of landing page. There’s too many different types of landers you could make to list here, but again, just aim to try and make the product sound as trustworthy, effective and easy-to-use as possible. Although the target is usually desperate, they’re usually looking for something — anything — to reaffirm that they can trust in the product that they’re buying. Once you clear this hurdle, the conversions usually come along shortly after.
Just remember to test, test, test and track, track, track. Clicktale is a great tool for monitoring what people are looking at/focusing on when they get to your lander, so utilize that if you feel up to it. Also, don’t be afraid of failure, remembering that for the average offer, you’re only going to get a 2-3 conversions for every 100 people you drive to your lander.
2.) Credit Report – Free Score 360 – FreeScore360.com (US) – CPA – $24.00
Existing in the public psyche as a mystical number floating around in some imaginary place, credit scores are of the utmost importance to everyone but the most Roth IRA-touting of the financially secured. While you technically don’t need to know your actual credit score in order to improve it, most people don’t know this at all so just roll with it.
For this offer, you’re going to need to get your targets to physically pull out their credit cards and submit this information along with all other basic personal information. While this may sound next to impossible, all you need to do is target people who absolutely need to know their credit score. You can accomplish this with some basic keyword research to help infuse your PPC or SEO campaigns with.
On the social end of the spectrum, you’re going to obviously want to target people who’re likely to want to know think they NEED to know their credit score. If you take a step back and think about this for a moment, you’ll (hopefully) come to the conclusion that most people who are close to age 18 aren’t going to need to know their credit score. This is because the credit companies hand out credit cards to the newly crowned 18 year-old “adults” like it’s frigging candy.
As such, you’re going to want to stick with people who fall somewhere in the range of 20+ for females — since we all know how the chicks love to ring up massive debt via credit card as soon as they’re able (ages 18-20). You may need to lower the maximum age or even raise it depending on the results, but that’s a good starting point to get the necessary campaign data needed to laser target the campaigns you’ll be running in the future. For guys, you’re probably best targeting 22-23+ year old’s since we all know how us dudes like to ring up massive credit card debt thanks to our new-found ability to legally enter bars and clubs. Who cares if you make minimum wage, you’ve got a credit card, baby — PATRON AND CRYSTAL FOR EVERYBODY, WOO!!
3.) Education – Education Advancement – General – Social & Display (US) – CPA – $23.00
With the economy still in shambles and seemingly everyone and their cousins’ plumbers’ liquor store clerk losing their jobs left and right, education has finally taken its rightful place as a requirement if you have any aspirations to earn even a smidgen more than minimum wage.
As you’ve surely already surmised (you sly fox, you!), this educational offer is indeed a lead generation type conversion. Essentially what this means is that you don’t need to convince your traffic to bust out their credit cards — and as we all know, this is most definitely a good thing.
Traffic can be driven to this offer via PPC, SEO and social network methods, so you’ve got a nice big map to plan out how you want to conquer things. Lead-gen is special in that direct-linking is actually sometimes more effective than a landing page would be, so if this is one of your very first offers then definitely don’t be afraid to direct link to the offer page from wherever you’re generating traffic from. On the other side of the fence you might also want to dive head-first into advertising via social sites such as Facebook.
Although if you choose that route, definitely make sure you let your Affiliate Manager know so he can help guide you through the process and away from losing your shirt due to the sometimes instantaneous rapid-increase in views and clicks.
4.) Dating – Mate1 – 25+ – Male & Female – Social Media Version (US)
Although you could technically find success with any traffic generation method, your best bet for making money with this dating offer — especially if you’re inexperienced — is to stick to marketing it via social networks.
One of the most useful methods for dating ads is to split test a ridiculous amount of picture and ad text combos so that you can see exactly what type of girl or guy and accompanying ad content works the best. You can start this method by finding pictures of anywhere from 20-100+ girls or guys (depending on which sex you’re targeting). And speaking of sex, it sells, so try to get the most risque, suggestive pictures possible without getting the ad disapproved.
Your next step will be to create as many titles and ad text combos so you can match your pictures 1:1. So if you have 30 different pictures, make 30 different ad titles and bodies of text. Next, you may want to sort the pictures via differences such as hair color, eye color, bust size, etc. so you can more easily recognize and identity which pictures are generating the highest CTR%.
The last step, and it’s a really tedious one, is to combine every picture with every customized ad text you created. Give each unique combination its own easy-to-decipher ad name and just get to work. If this is your first time, there’s no need to do so many combination’s, but the more combination’s you can split test, the more you can modify your campaigns and boost your ROI.
