ASE11 Recap Update
You’ve likely been rabidly anticipating the upcoming Affiliate Summit East 2011 recap that was promised a few days ago. Unfortunately, thanks to Hurricane Irene and her complete and utter disregard for uprooting trees and tossing them around like ragdolls on top of telephone and electricity poles, well… I’m sure you can put two-and-two together.
There were a mountainload of other pressing Envyus Media related matters that demanded my immediate attention once I stopped weeping for joy after my lights came back on last night. As such, Part 1 of the ASE11 recap has been postponed until tomorrow. I know, I know, I’m sorry. Hurricanes just don’t seem to listen and bend to my will like small animals do, unfortunately.
It will, for what it’s worth of course, be worth the wait. Obviously.
If absolutely necessary, please direct any and all gripes or complaints to Ms. Irene. Word on the doppler radar streets has her still trudging along angrily up near Iceland or something, reduced to a mere summer shower storm.
Anyway, stay tuned for Part 1 of the recap tomorrow. Barring any tornadoes, earthquakes or summer windstorms courtesy of the Wind Miser, it will be finished and posted here sometime tomorrow night.
Seriously though, all kidding aside, hopefully everyone else who was in the storm’s path is safe and doing well. Having no power was kind of cool for like… two hours or so before it abruptly became very not-so-cool-at-all. My heart goes out to any of you who’ve still yet to receive power and are keeping abreast of the goings on of the world via 85 second cell phone turn-on-real-quick-cause-your-batteries-on-its-last-legs checks. Might wanna go ahead and turn that off now as this post is definitely over the 85 seconds to read mark. Just like every other post/email/article/text message I’ve ever written.
Seriously, though… turn that thing off and we’ll see you back here tomorrow night. Same time, same place, same bat channel!
